Not forgetting the key role the poles played in WW2 as well. They have a long history of military excellence, and definitely won’t lie down without a fight. Let’s just hope the Russians aren’t that stupid as it would invoke article 52 (I think it’s that one) and mobilise the rest of NATO. Whilst I welcome that from the point of view of giving the Ukrainians a break, I’m not sure a full NATO conflict would end well for anyone
