I live in a forest in Gloucestershire, in a detached 3 bed house with about 1/4 of an acre of land. In a city I could maybe afford a one bed flat. I don't really miss anything because the nearest city is only 45 mins away, which was the same commute I'd have on average to get into or around London, but during the pandemic I was able to go on long walks right from my doorstep. I know I'm lucky, but I also know I don't need all the things!
