i am so sadden that history isn't more available and that teachers don't recognise the need to show the whole breadth of the past, although I'm not an American I love what the 1619 project is trying to do, and it's super important to teach and discover every angle of history - to avoid making the same mistakes and repeating the same miserable cycles
